Liane Michaelis

Liane Michaelis ( born April 23, 1953 in Beautiful Beck) is a former German handball player.

The 1.65 meter tall and 63 kilogram Liane Michaelis played for SC Magdeburg. In Magdeburg, they also visited the Children's and Youth Sports School.

With the GDR selection they won at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal silver. In 1975, she was with this team world champion, even at the World Cup 1973 she was in the squad of the GDR.
