Libertador Municipality, Carabobo
The district ( municipality ) Libertador is one of 14 districts of the state of Carabobo in the north of Venezuela.
The seat of government is the city Tocuyito.
History
The region was inhabited by Indians. The battle of Carabobo was held here on June 24, 1821.
