Libramont is a Belgian municipality in the district of Luxembourg Neufchâteau province.
The municipality consists of the eight villages Bras, Freux, Libramont, Moircy, Recogne, Remagne, Sainte -Pierre- Chevigny and Saint- Pierre.
Geography
Libramont is located at 500 m above sea level at a central point the south-eastern Ardennes. Here is a star of watersheds of several rivers. clockwise
- To the north the Ourthe
- To the east the Géronne, a right tributary of the Sure ( Sauer)
- To the south the Vierre, a right tributary of Semois
- To the northwest the Lesse
- After a Stream to Lomme, right tributary of the Lesse.
Funded by the situation that there is interchange of both the road and the rail network.
Traffic
The station has a station on the railway line Namur - Luxembourg, also here ends the rail line Athus - Libramont. Previously there was still following the today largely disused railway line Libramont- St Vith.
