Libuše Šafránková

Libuse Šafránková ( born June 7, 1953 in Brno, Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech actress. Her international breakthrough came she obtained in 1973 in the title role of Cinderella by the fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella ( Tři oříšky per Popelku ).

Life

Šafránková grew up in Šlapanice. In 1971 she graduated from the dramatic department of the Conservatory Brno. In 1972, she joined the drama club in Prague.

Libuse Šafránková had one of her first roles in the film adaptation of Bozena Němcovás Babička ( The grandmother ). In the following years she appeared in over 60 film and television productions.

Libuse Šafránková, whose sister is also an actress Miroslava, is married to the actor Joseph Abrhám since 1977. They have a son Joseph.

The couple withdrew early 1990s the theater back, lives a secluded life, is hardly interviews and is still highly valued in the Czech people.
