Lichtner Seamount is an undersea mountain in the Southern Ocean, off the coast of the Antarctic continent.

The mountain was named after the German cartographer Werner Lichtner (October 2, 1945 - April 12, 1989 ) named, who worked in the field of computer cartography and computer-aided drafting with emphasis on marine cartography. After Dr. Hans -Werner Schenke from Alfred Wegener Institute had suggested the name in 1999, he was officially adopted by the U.S. Advisory Committee for Undersea Features in April 2000.
