Licinia Eudoxia

Licinia Eudoxia (* 422, † 462) was the daughter of Aelia Eudocia and the Eastern Roman Emperor Theodosius II 437 Since she was with the Western Roman Emperor Valentinian III, the cousin of her father married. . They had two daughters, Eudocia and Placidia.

After the assassination of Valentinian in 455 ( an act of revenge because he had previously killed his overbearing commander Aetius ) Licinia Eudoxia was with his successor Petronius Maximus forced into marriage in order to give his reign legitimacy.
