Liège Basket

Liège Basket is a Belgian basketball club from Liege.

History

The club was founded in 1967 as Fléron Basket Club. By the turn of the century they played in the lower leagues of the Belgian basketball. In 2000, we joined with the two clubs BC Hannut and Essor Hannut together, their name into Belgacom Liège Basket and rose to the first league. It was followed by the greatest successes of the club's history. 2001 reached to the quarter-finals of the Korać Cup, a European Cup. The first and only title they won in 2004, the Belgian Basketball Cup.

2012 Belgacom ended its sponsorship, so that the club renamed in Liége Basket.

The club plays its home games in the comprehensive 5600 Country Hall Ethias Liège places.
