Liese (river)

Liese is a creek in North Rhine -Westphalia. It rises in the mountains and flows between Beckumer Wadersloh and Lippstadt in the Glenne. The creek is 18.56 km long and has a 90.50 km ² large catchment area.

Liese is called differently in their course. The headwaters in Beckum and the peasantry Altendiestedde called Liese or Liese Bach, the next section in Diestedde called mill creek, below the confluence of the Boxelbaches, in the district Wadersloh, ie the Bach Rottbach, and in the district Liesborn, from the confluence of Rottbach and beasts Bach, is called the brook again Liese Liese or stream.
