Life (1999 film)

For life (Life ) is an American comedy film directed by Ted Demme from the year 1999., Starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence.

Action

Ray Gibson and Claude Banks meet in a night club in Harlem of the 30s. Since Claude his account can not pay, he is the owner of the club in debt and has to smuggle alcohol together with Ray from Mississippi to New York. But both are mistakenly arrested for murder, who has been attached to them by the local sheriff, and sentenced to life imprisonment. In prison they meet many fellow prisoners and try in every possible way to escape, but does not succeed. So it happens several times a rift between Ray and Claude, but also time and again to reconciliation. Only after 65 years developed Claude then the perfect outbreak plan and both men can escape unnoticed.
