Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol

The Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol (LEAP ) is a proprietary method of Cisco Systems, with which it is possible to incorporate an authentication for the wireless clients. An interesting feature is the possibility to use a plurality of rotating WEP key. In addition, it is possible to authenticate the client by a RADIUS server. By rotating the WEP key a higher level of security is achieved (at least as long as the keys were not chopped).
