The Lignon is a river in France, in the department of Ardèche, in the Rhône -Alpes runs. It rises in the Cévennes, near the ski station La Croix de Bauzon, in the municipality of La Souche, in the Regional Natural Park of Monts d' Ardèche. The Lignon drained initially towards east, then turns to the northeast, flowing at Jaujac through narrow, volcanic basalt gorges and embossed ends after 21 kilometers just above Pont -de- Labeaume as a right tributary of the Ardèche.

Not to be confused with the two rivers of the same name Lignon and Lignon, which open into the Loire!
