History

Lil ' Chief Records was founded in 2002 by Jonathan Bree, Scott Mannion and Lawrence Mikkelsen. The label first specialized in Twee - pop and indie pop in the style of the 60s, took in more recent times but also representatives of other styles under contract. The publications are characterized by vocal harmonies, diverse instrumentation and careful production.
