Lili Wilkinson

Lili Wilkinson ( born April 7, 1981 in Melbourne) is an Australian writer who published mainly youth literature.

Life

Wilkinson visited the Spensley Street Primary School and the Mac.Robertson Girls' High School. She lived for half a year as an English teacher in Japan before their studies completed at the University of Melbourne in Creative Arts.

Since the age of six she thinks of stories and some have been published. According to her, was her first publication at the age of eleven years. She writes for several magazines, among others, in The Age, working at the Centre for Youth Literature of the State Library of Victoria ( Victoria State Library ). She is the daughter of writer Carole Wilkinson. Wilkinson lives in Melbourne.
