Lily Carlstedt

Carlstedt Lily (Lily Marie Louise Carlstedt, married: Kelsby; born March 5, 1926 in Søllerød, † 2005) was a Danish javelin thrower.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, she won the bronze medal with 42.08 meters behind the Austrian Herma Bauma ( 45.57 m) and the Kaisa Parviainen ( 43.79 m).

After her marriage she was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 and fifth at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki. At the European Championships in Berne in 1954, she took the 13th place.

Overall, it was nine times national champion (1947-1952, 1954-1956).
