Lim Teong Kim

Teong Kim Lim ( born August 26, 1963 in Malacca, Malaysia ) is a former Malaysian national football player of Bayern Munich is currently employed as an assistant coach of the U-19.

Playing career

Club career

Teong Kim Lim started his professional career at the age of 17 in his hometown in Melaka FA. Then he played for Selangor FA before for one season after Germany moved to Hertha BSC 1987. Under Jürgen Sundermann is Teong -Kim Lim, however, was able to fight for a place in the starting eleven in the Amateur Oberliga Berlin. After the fixed rise of Hertha Lim returned to his home country to Kuala Lumpur FA. In 1990, he played for half a year in Austria in Graz AK, but after this period, he moved back to Kuala Lumpur. From there he first went to Negeri Sembilan FA before moving in 1992 to Kedah FA, where he ended his career after one year.

National team career

Teong Kim Lim denied a total of 75 appearances for the national team of Malaysia. His biggest success in the jersey of the national team celebrates Lim winning the football tournament at the South East Asia Games in 1989, where he scored the pre-decisive 2-1 in the final against Singapore.

Coaching career

1995 moved Teong Kim Lim to Germany and supervised there the first team of SV Puchheim. In 2000, Lim was discovered by Dettmar Cramer, who helped Lim to a contract as a youth coach at Bayern Munich.
