Limonia nubeculosa is a mosquito of the family of Stelzmücken ( Limoniidae ).
Features
The mosquito reaches a body length of 9-11 mm. Their wings have a dark drawing on the front edge. The antennae are brown, her third term is yellowish. The mesonotum bears three dark longitudinal lines. The legs ( femurs ) are yellowish and carry three dark circles.
Lifestyle and dissemination
The animals are found throughout Europe and colonize forests. In Central Europe, they are frequently encountered, and fly from April to November.
