Limos (mythology)

Limos (Greek λιμός ) was in the ancient Greek religion and mythology, the personification of hunger. He was, according to Hesiod, a descendant of the Eris and thus a great-grandson of chaos. His siblings include ponos, Lethe and Makhai.

The Latin equivalent was Fames.
