Linas Kleiza

Linas Kleiza ( linɐs klæizɐ; born January 3, 1985 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR former, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who plays for Fenerbahçe Ülker.

Achievements

Kleizas parents came to the 1990s in the U.S., he himself followed at the age of 16 years. After a successful time in high school, where he was honored as the Gatorade High School Player of the Year and played together on the side of LeBron James in the Jordan Capital Classic Team, he went to the University of Missouri. After his sophomore season, he signed up for the NBA Draft 2005. He was selected to 27 out of the Portland Trail Blazers and further transferred directly on the same day to the Denver Nuggets, where his playing time grew steadily.
