Linda Bond

Linda Bond ( born June 22, 1946 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia (Canada) ) was until June 13, 2013, the international leader of the Salvation Army. They announced on June 13, 2013 suddenly, surprising and known unknown reasons her resignation.

On June 21, 1969, she was the Salvation Army officer and has worked in different countries. She was born on April 2, 2011 as the successor of General Shaw Clifton, the international leader of the Salvation Army in the rank of a general's. Before she was elected to the General's, she was Head of the Territorial Salvation Army Territory Australia - East. As the 19th General's Salvation Army she was the third woman to hold this office after general's Evangeline Booth ( 1934-1939 ) and General's Eva Burrows ( 1986-1993 ).
