Linda Züblin

Linda Züblin (born 21 March 1986) is a Swiss heptathlete, which also belongs in the javelin, 100 - meter hurdles and long jump to the Swiss elite. They will start for the LAR Bischofszell and keeps the Swiss Junior and U23 records in the heptathlon and the Swiss record in the javelin. In 2008 she was accepted into the World Class potential funding project of the Swiss Athletics Association and elected to the Swiss track and field athlete of the year.

Züblin has participated in two World Championships in Athletics, the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing and the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona. With a personal best of 6018 points, it is one of five Swiss Seven fighters that have reached more than 6000 points.

After two years in which Züblin thrown back from injuries she could qualify for the World Athletics Championships 2013 in Moscow.

Although Züblin still able to celebrate any major international success, it is one of the most famous track and field athletes of Switzerland due to its open nature and associated with numerous media appearances. In 2009 she competed in the Super10Kampf.

2009 moved the learned clerk from eastern Switzerland to Bern, where she is being trained by the Swiss -around trainer Adrian Roth Buhler. Linda Züblin siblings Andrew and Sarah are also successful athletes.
