Lindemans Brewery

Lindemans is a specialized private Lambicbier traditional brewery in the village Vlezenbeek; This village is located within the municipality of Sint -Pieters -Leeuw in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The brewery is a member of the Company BELGIAN FAMILY BREWERS.

History

The brewery had its origin in 1809, when the family Lindemans began to brew in the winter months on their farm in Vlezenbeek Lambicbier. The time required for the brewing process barley and the wheat was grown on the farm itself. Due to the increasing commercial success of its beer the agricultural activities of the farmstead were increasingly back - in 1930 all set and the brewery now took on its own acquisition, the production of Lindemans Kriek and Lindemans Gueuze on. 1978 was added the Faro; in the years 1986 and 1987 in addition the cassis and Pecheresse have been added in the brewing and beer selection. Due to the rising demand in 1991 - built a new one - adjacent to the old brewery; production could thus be tripled. The private brewery is now in its seventh generation owned by the Lindemans family.
