Course

It rises on Willroder forest south-east of Erfurt, and flows in a northerly direction through Niedernissa, Urbich, Linder Bach, Azmannsdorf and Kerspleben, where it changes its course toward the northeast. The Linder stream continues to flow over Töttleben, Erfurt's city limits and Kleinmölsen before going into the frames, a tributary of the Unstrut opens in Großmölsen district Sömmerda.

The most important tributary of the Linder Bach is the Peter Brook, which joins from the right in the village Linder Bach.
