Lindsay (crater)

Lindsay is an impact crater on the lunar front side, east of Hipparchus and north of Andel. The crater is eroded and the peripheral ridge has some openings. The interior is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1979 after the Irish astronomer Eric Mervyn Lindsay.
