Linux Gazette

The Linux Gazette is a monthly computer - e-zine, which deals with Linux. Articles are written in English, to be subsequently unofficially translated into nine languages ​​, including Russian, French and Chinese.

History

They started the project in 1995 until today free of John Fisk. The journal is supported and published by the SSC. The SSC sponsored at that time still the Linux Journal, before it was acquired by Belltown Media Inc..

Articles are written usually by volunteers and are then proofread by staff of the Linux Gazette.

The Answer gear

The Linux Gazette stands out mainly by the answer passage of other magazines with similar themes. Not only detailed tutorials will be published, but also incorporates a sometimes asked dialog in the article that lead to the topic and to own slogan making Linux just a little more fun to fit. The result is usually amusing and yet informative posts.
