Lionel Robert
Lionel Robert ( born April 20, 1962) is a French racing driver.
Robert began his motorsport career in the early 1980s and came quickly via various single-seater junior formulas for sports car racing. In 1986, he was for a British privateer team made its debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1990 he was works driver in Courage Compétition and for some years team partner of former Formula 1 driver Pascal Fabre. In 1990, he achieved his best result at Le Mans when he, along with Fabre and Michel Trollé seventh overall was. Overall, Robert was 1986-1998 seven times at Le Mans at the start.
In the early 2000s he moved to the French sports car championship.
