Lionel Town is a small town in the south of Jamaica. The city is located in Middlesex County in the Parish Clarendon. In 2010, Lionel Town had a population of 5,439 people. The town was named after Sir Lionel Smith, who was from 1836 to 1839 governor of Jamaica.

Geography

Lionel Town is located north of Jackson Bay, which is separated from the site by dense jungle. East borders the city on extensive mangrove forests. In close proximity lies west of the fishing village of Rocky Point.
