Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader is a computer role-playing game published in 2003 by the U.S. developer Reflexive Entertainment in association with Black Isle Studios. It takes place in a parallel world scenario, the renaissance temporal earth.
Action
You start in a slave pit, out of which one is saved by Leonardo da Vinci. He brings you to Barcelona, where you can join one of four factions: the inquisitors, the Templars, the mages or the Black Mage. From Barcelona to the west struggles in Spain until you get the task of protecting the sacred relics of Europe, which have been stolen by strange snake figures from the East.
They meet in the game to many historical figures, including Galileo Galilei, Marco Polo, Joan of Arc, William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes. The player character itself is a descendant of King Richard the Lionheart. This was the so-called ' split ' caused in a crusade in the twelfth century, when it was executed 3000 prisoners Arabs. The earth got a crack and thousands monster streaming out. Richard teamed up with his enemy Saladin and could push back the monsters and close the hole in the earth. But still many monsters had come to light. They settled everywhere upon the earth, though could be pushed back in most places, but they changed the appearance of the world completely. Many people will arise to the possessed of the spirits that have entered into them, and the four races. The character must find the right way out of the chaos in this world full of prejudice and violence.
Play
In Lionheart, the player moves his character through a varied game world. It is found throughout the game in Spain, France, England and Persia again. May initially be created with Fallout similar rules a character, where one of four races (Human, Wild, Demonic and Sylvaner ) and three spirits ( elemental, animal, spirit and demons ) that accompany a select and combine. Furthermore, there are several attributes (strength, toughness, observation skills, charisma, intelligence, agility and luck ) to which you can distribute points, it is race to race other restrictions. And now there is the opportunity to pick out preferred skills that are more efficient to improve later with the Fallout system. In addition, each player can choose up to two properties that have both positive and negative consequences.
