Lis Sørensen

Lis Sørensen ( born May 8, 1955 in Brabrand, today Aarhus ) is a Danish singer, songwriter and composer.

Even in school she encourages her music teacher Holger Laumann, to join the group De Fem and sing children's songs. Age of 15 she released the song It's so easy.

She studied music education at the Academy of Music Aarhus, Det Jyske Conservatory of Music. In 1974 she formed with Anne Linnet and the other Girl Group Shit & Chanel. Created four albums in five years.

In 1979 she worked with Sebastian. 1983 produced the single Heaven Down to Earth. In 1985, she sings the musical role of Sarai at the Bellevue Theatre in Copenhagen.

Lis Sørensen singing rock ballads and lyrical pieces; She was also influenced by hip-hop, the Country and Latin music.
