Lisandro López ( born March 2, 1983 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player at the position of a striker.

Biography

After he moved from the youth team of his club Racing Club Avellaneda in the professional squad in 2003, he established himself at once as a regular player and scored many goals for his club. This aroused the interest of FC Porto, who signed him in July 2005 for the equivalent of 3.85 million euros. With Porto López won four consecutive years (2005 /06 to 2008/ 09) the Portuguese championship. In the 2007 /08 season he was top scorer with 24 goals Portuguese.

In July 2009, López moved for 24 million euros to Olympique Lyon. In France he was elected after his first season for the Ligue 1 Player of the Year.

In the summer of 2013 he moved from Lyon to seven-time Qatari champions Al Gharafa - from Doha.
