Lishi District

Lishi (离石 区) is a district of the prefecture-level city in the Chinese province of Shanxi Lüliang. Lishi is the city center and is also the seat of the municipal government of Lüliang.

The municipality has an area of 1,323 km ² and 240,000 inhabitants ( end of 2004). They live in the situated 919 meters above sea level, the city mainly by the major coal deposits in the area as well as agriculture. The climate is cold and dry, with temperatures in the annual average of about 10 ° C.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level there is Lishi seven road districts, two large municipalities and three communities together. These are:
