Líšina

Lisina ( German Lischin ) is a municipality with 149 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south of Stod at the Merklínka and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 798 hectares.

Geography

Lisina is located 358 m above sea level. M. in the Valley of Merklínka in Pilsen hills. To the west rises the 516 m high Trný and vrch in the northeastern Křížový. Through the village leads the state road 182 between Stod and Merklín.

Neighboring towns are Lelov and Lelovský Mlýn in the north, Maškrov in the east, in the southeast Chalupy, Čelákovy in the south, the west and Holýšov Střelice in the northwest.

History

The first mention of lisina dates from the 1180. Since 1227 the village belonged to the possessions of the monastery Chotěšov.
