List of airports in the Czech Republic

The list of airports in the Czech Republic leads all airports in the Czech Republic with international line connections.

Structure

According to the Law 49/1997 Coll civil aviation civil airports are divided according to the category of users of public and non-public airports. On public airports, all aircraft are approved in accordance with their technical and operational capacity. Users of non-public airports are determined by the Office of Civil Aviation on a proposal of the airport operator. Next military airports are distinguished.

In addition to the airports are divided into domestic and international. In relation to the Schengen area international airports are further broken down into airports with external border and airports without external border. International airports with external border are currently the airports Benešov, Brno / Tuřany, Čáslav, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Karlovy Vary, Kbely, Kunovice, Letňany, Liberec, Mnichovo Hradiště, Náměšt nad Oslavou, Ostrava / Mošnov, Pardubice, Plzeň / Líně, Praha / Ruzyne, Přerov, Roudnice Vodochody and Vysoke Myto.
