List of cities in the Bahamas

This is a list of cities in the Bahamas.

By far the largest city in the Bahamas is Nassau with a population of 227 940. Thus, about 70 percent of the country's population concentrated in the capital region.

In the following table are the cities with over 200 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) of 5 May 1990, a calculation for January 1, 2005, and the parent administrative unit ( district ) to which the city is listed. The island of New Providence is managed by the government and does not belong to the district. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
