List of Great Lakes of Africa kingdoms

The kingdoms of the African Great Lakes (also called " Interlakustrine kingdoms " or " empires of the Lakes area" called ) comprise a series of partly historical, partly still existing kingdoms in the African Great Lakes in East Africa ( Tanganyika, Lake Victoria, Lake Albert, Lake Edward, Lake Kivu, Malawi ), which arose in the 14th century in the fields about the current states of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi and parts of the present states of Kenya and Tanzania. This (former) kingdoms have common features in terms of peculiarities of their social structure and forms of rule.
