List of longest bridges in the world

This list gives an overview of the bridges in the world, both on land and over water that are at least 3 km long. With span the longest distance between two pillars is meant. There is no standard method for specifying the length of a bridge. Usually one specifies the total span, sometimes the clear width between the abutments or the distance between the abutment ends.
