List of seigneurs of Sark
The Seigneur de Sark ( in use today: English Seigneur of Sark ) is the head of the Channel Island of Sark. Seigneur is the French word for "Lord." A female head is called Dame de Sark.
The Office des Seigneurs is hereditary. With the permission of the Queen it can even be sold. The Seigneur has a suspensive veto and the right to determine the holder of many offices on the island. See also Sark - Political System
