This is the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the African continent, listed by country in Africa.
- The number at the beginning of each line indicates the year of recording site on the World Heritage List.
- Sites of world cultural heritage with a "K ", the World Natural Heritage sites marked with an " N".
- Monuments, which both belong to the world culture as well as the World Natural Heritage, enter "N / N".
- World Heritage Sites, which classifies the UNESCO as most vulnerable are additionally marked with "( R )" ( Red List of World Heritage in Danger ).
