Lithuanian Artists' Association

The Lithuanian Artists' Association ( lit.: Lietuvos dailininkų sąjunga ) is the association of professional Lithuanian artists. It is headquartered in Vilnius, where she operates a number of galleries.

The Lithuanian Artists' Association was founded in 1935 in the then capital of Lithuania Kaunas and is there today with its own location, the gallery Meno Parkas represented.

As an official representative of artists she stands up for the interests of its members, for example, in matters of copyright and the grant system. In addition, it informs its members about current tenders and competitions, especially abroad.

Its main activities and the alignment of regular art exhibitions heard in their galleries. Except in Vilnius and Kaunas, she still has galleries in the towns of Lithuania Panevėžys and Klaipėda. Furthermore, the Lithuanian Artists' Association is involved in the organization of various cultural events, such as the Textile Art Biennial Kaunas.
