Lithuanian World Community

The Lithuanian World Community ( lit. Pasaulio lietuvių bendruomenė, PLB) is a Lithuanian public, non-profit umbrella organization that connects Auslandslitauer. PLB has units ( sub-organizations ) in 36 states. The Board consists Ausden chosen PLB Seimas representatives. The Board ex officio chairman of the Lithuanian part of World Youth League.

History

On June 14, 1949 published Vyriausiojo Lietuvos Išlaisvinimo Komitetas ( VLIKas; Supreme Lithuanian Liberation Committee ) Lithuanian Charter. These anchored that the Lithuanian World Community unites all living outside Lithuania Lithuanians sought the life of the Lithuanian nation to maintain its language, culture, customs, traditions, and has to support independent Lithuanian state.
