The Little Beaver Creek is a 26 km long right tributary of the Ohio River in the northeastern U.S. state of Ohio and western Pennsylvania. The outflow is via the Ohio River and Mississippi River into the Gulf of Mexico. The Little Beaver Creek is part of the river system of the Mississippi River and drained together with its tributaries an area of ​​1567 km ². The creek is formed by the confluence of the two source rivers Middle Fork Little Beaver Creek and West Fork Little Beaver Creek at West Point in Columbiana County, Ohio, and then flows in a generally southeasterly direction to its mouth at the town of Glasgow in the Ohio River.

The Middle Fork Little Beaver Creek rises south-west of Salem and flows north into the Mahoning County, then turns to the southeast to the junction with the West Fork Little Beaver Creek. The Middle Fork has a length of 65 km and drains an area of 382 km ². The West Fork Little Beaver Creek rises in southern Butler Township, Columbiana County and flows south, forming the Guilford Lake, take the Brush Creek and then turns in an easterly direction to the confluence with the Middle Fork Little Beaver Creek. The West Fork has a length of 40.5 km and drains an area of approximately 290 km ². The third source river is the North Fork Little Beaver Creek and rises in Springfield Township, Mahoning County. It first flows southeast to Pennsylvania and then returns in a westerly direction back to Ohio. It flows about 13 km below the confluence of the Middle and West Fork in the Little Beaver Creek. The North Fork has a length of 55 km and drains an area of 474 km ².

A large part of the river system ( a total of 53 river km) of Little Beaver Creek and its headwaters are ( " scenic " ) in the category " scenic" awarded as a National Wild and Scenic River.

Characteristic of the catchment area of ​​the Little Beaver Creek are deep valleys, wooded slopes and rock outcrops. The river itself is covered with large boulders and there are numerous rapids, but also quiet stretches of river and clear, fast-flowing tributaries. The catchment area of ​​63 fish species, 49 different mammals, 140 species of birds and 46 different species of reptiles and amphibians were counted, including Ohio's largest population of the endangered Hellbender Salamanders.
