Little Brother, Big Trouble: A Christmas Adventure

Niko 2 - Little Reindeer, great hero is a Finnish 3D animation film, which was produced by Universum Film GmbH. It is the sequel to the film Niko - A reindeer takes off.

Action

Since Niko knows that his father is Prancer of the flying squad, he spends every weekend to fly as well as he can. Secretly, he hopes that his parents get back together. But at home he has to learn that his mother Oona has met a cute reindeer bulls named Lenni. To make matters worse Niko has with Lennis son Jonni also a stepbrother, who quickly wins the hearts of Nikos friends flying squirrel and ermine Julius Wilma.

The film had its sneak preview on September 29, 2012 first on the Hamburg Film Festival and on 12 October 2012 in Finland and in Germany 1 November 2012, premiered in theaters. The production cost of the film was about € 7,361,000 ( film funding: 800.000 € ). It is the most expensive Finnish film and the third Finnish 3D movie.

Reception

According kino.de the film offers a "balanced mix of fun sequences with a lot of dialogue wit and exciting moments ." The Berlin city magazine tip notes that " threat scenarios clearly " had been defused in comparison to the first film and rather funny impacted, thereby making the movie for his childlike target group would be better advised than a predecessor.
