Little Brother (group)
Little Brother was an American hip hop group from Durham, North Carolina.
Career
The three founding members of the group were the two rappers Phonte ( Phonte Coleman ) and Rapper Big Pooh ( Thomas Jones) and producer 9th Wonder (Patrick Douthit ), all former students of the North Carolina Central University. Content and musically, the group oriented largely on the style of the Native Tongues A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul and Pete Rock & CL Smooth, which were mainly mid-1990 successfully. Your name derived from the fact that as they themselves as " little brothers " of these musicians considered.
They are also founding members of the Justus League, a collective of independent hip-hop musicians from North Carolina.

In summer 2008, published Little Brother is their fourth studio album And Justus for All, which consists of the best tracks from the very well-received mixtape And Justus for All (without DJ Shouts ) and new tracks from the group.
Following the same logic published Litte Brother after the success of And Justus for All ( entry into the Billboard Top 200) in November 2008, the mixtape Separate but Equal as a regular album, with the addition of Drama Free Edition. The album is free from Mixtape elements such as Shout Outs and scratching, etc. In addition, some new tracks are represented.
As a parting gift for her fans Little Brother, the album has received LeftBack that appeared in April 2010. At the same time gave her Little Brother resolution known, but are Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh still active as a solo artist.
