Liu Rui

Liu Rui (Chinese刘锐, Pinyin Liú Rui, born March 13, 1982 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler. He is a member of the Harbin Curling Club and currently plays with skip Wang Fengchun on the position of third in the Chinese national team.

Liu's biggest successes were the victories at the Pacific Curling Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009, the bronze medal at the Winter Universiade in 2009 and reaching the final at the 2008 World Championship.

In the 2009 World Cup after his team lost all the first games he played in the later games of the first round the last two stones while Wang Fengchun moved to the third position, but still performed the function of the skip. So even get four wins, including against the eventual champions Scotland, but not the Final Tournament.

In February 2010, Liu took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Chinese team. The team finished in eighth place.
