Liu Zhenya

Liu Zhenya, (Chinese刘振亚, * 1952, Shandong) is a Chinese manager. He was a deputy member of the 17th People's Congress of the CCP and is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Life

Liu Zhenya started his professional career in October 1971. Liu graduated as a senior engineer at the University of Shandong. In November 1992, Liu was appointed as Deputy Director General of Shandong Electric & Industry Bureau, became general manager in December 1995 and then in 1997 chairman and general manager of Shandong Electric Power Corporation. In November 2004, he assumed the office of president and CEO of State Grid Corporation of China.
