Living Greyhawk

Living Greyhawk was a singular, globally consistent pen & paper role-playing game campaign.

Living Greyhawk (LG) was started in 2000 as a global campaign for role players and is run by the " Role Playing Gamers Association " ( RPGA ). All role-playing characters, create the player for this campaign will be created and developed according to fixed, general binding rules. At the start of the campaign after Dungeons & Dragons 3.0 and later to Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 rules.

The campaign was launched by a volunteer committee - called "The Circle" - directed. In addition, each region was supervised by a triad of experienced players and gamemasters.

Each player character had one of the regions assigned as a home - often the one in which the players also lived himself. The special of the "Living " campaign was that a character was playable worldwide. So if a player from Germany traveled all to France to a LG- round or LG -Convention, it there could also play his character.

The adventure for the campaign were written for several different difficulty levels, so that an adventure could be adjusted to reflect existing player characters. This one could enter a new character in the campaign over and over again - it was quite common that players had multiple characters in the campaign. However, each player is allowed an adventure play only once.

December 31, 2008 Living Greyhawk has been set since the fourth edition of the D & D rules was published in June 2008, which would require a fundamental adaptation of the campaign world due to the many rule changes.

Living Forgotten Realms

The first performances of the successor project Living Forgotten Realms have been made at various conventions since March 2008. The number of regions of Living Greyhawk world was reduced drastically. Germany became part of Northern Europe ( Northern Europe ) region.
