Ljuba Kazarnovskaya

Lyubov Yuryevna Kasarnowskaja (also Ljuba Kasarnowskaja, Russian Любовь Юрьевна Казарновская; born May 18, 1956 in Moscow) is a Russian soprano opera singer.

Life

Kasarnowskaja debuted in 1981, as a student of the Moscow Conservatory as Tatiana in Eugene Onegin. From 1981 to 1989 Ljuba Kasarnowskaja was a leading soprano at the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatre, where they laid the foundation for her extensive repertoire (more than 40 stage productions, including Salome, Tosca, Manon, Manon Lescaut, Tatjana, Mimi in La Bohème Lisa put in Pique Dame, Madama Butterfly, Verdi's La forza del Leonora in destino ).
