Ljubčo Georgievski

Ljubco Georgievski or Ljubtscho Georgievski ( Macedonian Љупчо Георгиевски, Bulgarian Любчо Георгиевски; born January 17, 1966 in Stip, Yugoslavia, today Macedonia ) is a poet and politician and served from 1998 to 2002 Prime Minister of Macedonia. He is married and has a son.

Georgievski was the founder of the bourgeois party VMRO- DPMNE and the probulgarischen splinter party VMRO -NP. He improved the precarious relations with Bulgaria and fought for a representation of the Albanians.

2006 Georgievski declared themselves as ethnic Bulgarians, after which he received Bulgarian citizenship. Since 2007 he has been in Bulgaria for the party GERB politically active and Macedonia for the VMRO -NP.

In March 2011, Georgievski said in an interview with Radio Free Europe from for a compromise in the name dispute with Greece on behalf of the Euro -Atlantic integration of Macedonia. It stated that Macedonia is a multiethnic and multi-religious state.
