Llannor, Welsh Llan -Nor or Llanfaur, is a small town and large village on the Lleyn Peninsula (Pen Llŷn ) in the County of Gwynedd, Wales. The village is located approximately 3 miles north west of Pwllheli in a hilly area. The greater community include the formerly independent villages Abererch, Efailnewydd, Usk and Rhos- fawr. The Catholic Parish of Holy Cross is a Vicariate of the Diocese of Bangor. In the village there are also two chapels of the Methodist Church. The total population is 2,244 people (as according to the 2001 census )
