Lluís Carreras

Lluís Carreras Ferrer ( * September 24, 1972 in Sant Pol de Mar) is a former Spanish left-back, who was active during his active career, among other things for FC Barcelona, RCD Mallorca, Atlético Madrid and Deportivo Alavés.

Career

Lluís Carreras Ferrer was trained in the youth academy of FC Barcelona. From 1991 to 1993, he completed 70 games and scored 21 goals for the amateurs. On April 4, 1993, he made ​​his debut in the senior team in a 3-1 win against CD Logroñés. However, this was the only game in the season 1992 /93.

After two loan periods at Real Oviedo and Racing Santander, he returned to the 1995/96 season back to Barcelona. Although he played 18 league games this season, FC Barcelona was only third in the table.

In 1996 he moved to RCD Mallorca, where he was able to prevail from the outset as a regular player. Until 2001, he graduated from 94 games, scoring eight goals. He made similar experiences also at Atletico Madrid, but he remained there only two years. Then followed a season at Real Murcia. There he graduated from 15 games.

In 2004 he moved to Deportivo Alavés. In Alavés but he could not prevail. 2007 Carreras was terminated by Dmitry Pietrman because he made ​​some information on a Basque website that which Pietrman was not satisfied.

After this incident, he ended his active career.

National

Carreras played in 1990 for the Spanish U -20 and completed three games. From 1992 to 1994, he played seven games for the Spanish U- 21st
