LluÃs Dalmau
Lluís Dalmau (* 1400, † 1460 in Valencia, Spain) was a Catalan painter of the Gothic.
Life
Dalmau was court painter of King Alfonso V of Aragon. 1431 he went to Bruges, to study the oil technique of the Flemish school. 1437 he returned to Spain. The only way he clearly attributable movement, Enthroned Madonna ( 1443-45 ), clearly reveals the influence of Jan van Eyck.
